PASTIME PRODUCTIONS BLOG IS DONE!

I'm sad to say but this Pastime Productions blog is done. Not to worry though, it's not like I won't be keeping a blog, it's now just going to be integrated into my BRAND NEW WEBSITE! I'm really excited about the new site and look forward to running my blog straight through there.

Tim Burton Talks 'Alice in Wonderland'

If you haven't seen the poster for the new Alice in Wonderland you're missing out. It's a picture of the Mad Hatter, played by Johnny Depp, and it has Tim Burton written all over it. The director was at Comic-Con and spoke a bit about the film. You can read what Tim Burton had to say here.

Peter Jackson Stuff

First let me say sorry for not posting anything for some time. Things around here have been INSANELY busy and the blog had to take a back seat because of it. Oh well...shit happens. Anyway back to business, I'm a big Peter Jackson fan and he has a bunch of cool stuff coming out this year. The first project is District 9, then in December, he releases The Lovely Bones. 30 Films to Watch for at TIFF

I just saw a list of some of the films playing at this year's Toronto International Film Festival and I have to say it's quite impressive. Toronto, some say, is the start of Oscar season, and by the looks of some of the titles, this years Oscar winner for Best Picture will most likely come from this fantastic list of films. New Pic of Tim Burton's 'Alice in Wonderland'

So some new pics have popped up all over the internet of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. I saw, and I posted on this blog, about six months back the first round of photos and I can honestly tell you that these are WAY CREEPIER! If I did not know anything about the production and these photos were the only marketing material out there...I would assume Alice in Wonderland is a horror film.
